Hey Cinematic Composers!! I’m doing a live class for the entire CC community!! I’m going to talk about how to compose cinematic music and how to make money with it.

Now… before you can get into the “making-income-from-music” part of it, there are two prerequisites:

Número 1 - High-quality music: You have to be able to write not just good music, but also high production value… or in other words, soundtrack-ready music. Obvious… right? Dah 🤷

Número 2 - You need to be able to compose fast (rápido, amigo!). You're going to need to be somewhat prolific. Whether you're doing music for a movie, tv show, or colabing with another composer.

So I decided that for this to be a holistic class I'll cover these three topics. 

1. Composition (for the beginner)

2. Workflow (for the composers who want to evolve and move to the next level)

3. Generating income with cinematic music (for everyone)

For the first one – composition – I’ve been developing new techniques with the help of A.I. that have sped up how fast our students learn to compose cinematic music. Used to take 6 months to get there. Now it takes 3!

The second one – workflow – is about how to set up your system so you can compose & mix fast and efficiently. I’m talking to be able to compose at least a 2 min cue per day.

And the third one is “What’s-working-now?” in regard to making money with cinematic music. Over the two years, I’ve been doing things differently when it comes to finding projects and gigs. As a result, I’ve had more composing opportunities than ever. If you’re interested, I could share with you what I’ve been doing that’s working so well for me.
